The Limay River originates at the mouth of Lake Nahuel Huapi, beginning its long journey to the Atlantic Ocean in one of the world’s best trout fishing grounds. A 45-minute drive from Bariloche will take you to this world-class fly-fishing river, located northeast of Nahuel Huapi National Park. The river flows through the Paso, a dry area with beautiful and picturesque volcanic rock formations and narrow canyons. In Mapudungun, Limay means “you can see through it.” Thanks to its crystal-clear waters, it’s a perfect destination for fly fishing, where you can spot enormous fish and cast them with dry flies. Our experience allows us to guide you and answer all your questions, ensuring you have a great day on the water. We are very patient instructors.
The Manso River originates in the heart of the Andes Mountains and flows through Nahuel Huapi National Park. It is surrounded by a dense, humid forest. Undoubtedly, it is located in one of the most beautiful landscapes in Bariloche and Argentine Patagonia, with crystal-clear waters unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Navigating the Manso River in our boat is highly recommended for both beginners and advanced fly fishermen. You don’t need to cast very far to catch trout. It’s also an excellent opportunity to wade at our private fishing base camp—that is, fish on foot in the river: each pool has a shallow, rocky bottom and a gentle current. The fishing here is truly unique! We also offer fishing trips combined with adventure activities such as rafting or horseback riding.
Sail across Lake Nahuel Huapi aboard an all-inclusive speedboat. Its design fosters a genuine connection with the environment, free from distractions and noise. Equipped with an enclosed cabin, kitchen, bathroom, and heating, it lets you enjoy the lake year-round. You can explore Victoria Island on foot or by bicycle and capture incredible photos! We’ll also sail along the Brazo Tristeza, enjoying lunch, waterfalls, and breathtaking sunsets.
Fishing on Lake Nahuel Huapi aboard a motorboat with a certified fishing guide. These freshwater giants, the Patagonian trout, migrate seasonally to the streams that feed the lake, offering year-round opportunities for anglers to catch them from our equipped boats.
